After watching Coco before Chanel, I am bestirred by the rebel inside me. Ravishing, enthralling, magnatizing; and so much more was Coco Gabrielle Chanel; such a character! Audrey Tautou’s display of The genius’s imsubmassive streak was subduing.
It come across to me that Fashion can be such a romantic affair, spurring me to compare Confessions of a Shoppaholic (by Sophie Kinsella), The Devil wears Prada (by Lauren Weisberger )… …Well I lust for more, and beauty buffs would be pleased with an additional Max Factor biography (me scampering twirls of joy, for His screen appearance :p)!
From soldier to a favorite of the royal family; esteemed by the Imperial Russian court and Grand Opera, to the degration of being hunted as a fugitive, on the run with Lizzie; his beloved woman, along with his three descendents who rose and become his present successors. These secrets were unrevealed until five years later when they reached St. Louis, Missouri, where his name was misspelt as “Factor” (originally “Faktor”). It was 1903, and his wife died a few years later in the United States.
He earned a reputation for himself with his ingenius invention of face make-up pigments in his laboratry and used them in Technicolour productions during 1920’s; glamourizing Jean Harlow, Claudette Colbert, Bette Davis, nearabout all of the major movie actresses were regulars at the Max Factor beauty salon, located near Hollywood, Boulevard. Posters with stars using his make-up were splashed all over the town, and Max Factor made it’s way to Singapore at a time when his products monopolized the beauty market. Of course, Elizabeth Arden and Helena Rubinstein were his major competitors at that time.
And of course, followed by his death came a poignant closure to Max Factor studio in 2002. With Proctor and Gamble endorsed a new takeoff for the unsurpassable company. The Max Factor studio is now the Hollywood Museum. Hail to Geniuses who influence Modern women with their history. We won’t be the same without them ;)winks

When my clients ask me which suits best - Bouncy luscious long curls VS Edgy short crops? I reply, “The magic lies in you!”
Personality is a BIGGGGGGG Factor (yea, I meant it as much as I capitalize it) ! An outragous hairstyle to match up with an equally head-turning character. Who stops traffic with an Awing image?… …For Brueno (spelt german), it’s gonna be his fashion! :P Someone’s self image = his / her Credibility. You wouldn’t hire a secretary with gothic make-up and blue streaks in her stark hair, would you?? For this, you may want to see Wella spelling ”Magic’ with this season’s new colours: Turquoise and shades of pastels in a whole new light - a spellbounding garden of eden, is what I read.
What’s more to mention is gotta be The recent World Of Colours seminar. The colourists couldn’t wait to play with the lastest colours of the season, and I trotted off beeming with my new hair colour glowing in my tresses

Hair length is a major issue when it comes to styling, and this particular style I’ve done for a client is perfect for oval / diamond / heart-shaped face.

May 5 2008 was a day I worked my magic on Wendy; a pleasant lady, who was in Singapore for a business trip.
She was the host for a corporate event at Fullerton Hotel later that evening.
Wendy has wavy waist length hair, so I decided to give her a sleek French twist do to go with Glamorous evening Make-up at St Regis’s, before I wrap up my day. Here’s her look for the night!
Later that evening, Wendy received compliments from her bosses who were already waiting for her arrival at the meeting room the moment she stepped out of the elevator.
Although the “After” picture was taken in the elevator, (sorry for the the poor lighting
) I was pleased that Wendy turned heads along the way to The Fullerton, and received numerous compliments on her alluring appearance that evening.
